ESTRAGON

[2861] (Calmer) [2862] I lost my head. [2863] (he bows his head for
shame) [2864] Forgive me! [2865] (he raises his head with
spirit) [2866] It won't happen again. [2868] Tell me what to
do.

VLADIMIR

[2869] There's nothing to do.

ESTRAGON

[2870] You go and stand there. [2871] (he draws Vladimir to
extreme right and places him with his back to the
stage) [2872] There, don't move, and watch out.

[2874] (VLADIMIR scans horizon, shading his eyes
with his hand. [2875] ESTRAGON runs and takes up
same position extreme left. [2876] They turn their
heads and look at each other)

[2877] Back to back like in the good old days!

[2878] (They continue to look at each other for a
moment, then resume their watch. [2879] Long
silence)

VLADIMIR

[2887] (They resume their watch. [2888] Long silence)

VLADIMIR

ESTRAGON

[2894] No need to shout.

[2895] (They resume their watch. [2896] Long silence)
