VLADIMIR

[2964] (ESTRAGON closes his eyes, staggers worse)

ESTRAGON

[2965] (Stopping, brandishing his fists, at the top of
his voice)

[2966] God have pity on me!

VLADIMIR

[2967] (Vexed) [2968] And me?

ESTRAGON

[2969] (As before) [2970] On me! [2971] On me! [2972] Pity! [2973] On me!

[2974] (Enter POZZO (now blind) and LUCKY. [2976] LUCKY
burdened as before.
[2977] Rope as before, but
much shorter, so that Pozzo may follow more
easily.
[2978] LUCKY wearing a different hat. [2979] At
the sight of Vladimir and Estragon he stops.

[2980] POZZO, continuing on his way, bumps into
him)

VLADIMIR

[2980|001] Gogo!

POZZO

[2982] (Clutching on to Lucky who totters) [2983] What is it?
[2984] Who is it?

[2985] (LUCKY falls, drops everything and brings
down Pozzo with him.
[2986] They remain stretched
out motionless among the scattered baggage)

ESTRAGON

[2987] Is it Godot?

VLADIMIR

[2988] At last! [2989] (he goes towards the heap) [2990] Reinforcements
at last!

ESTRAGON

VLADIMIR

[2994] We were beginning to weaken. [2995] Now we're sure to
see it the evening out.
